• American Red Cross, Richland County Chapter
  for disaster assistance; armed services; emergency services; blood services; health and safety; and volunteer services. 
   
• Big Brothers/Big Sisters
  for making a positive difference in the lives of children and youth, primarily through a professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationship with a caring adult.
  
  
• Catholic Charities
  for serving those in need, following the example of those who fed the hungry, visited the sick and cared for the poor. 
  
• The Center for Individual and Family Services / Rehab Center of NCO
  for delivering quality comprehensive mental health, alcohol and drug services in a finacially responsible manner. for providing persons with temporary or permanent disabilities an appropriate mix of outpatient rehabilitation services.
  
• Community Action for Capable Youth (CACY)
  for reducing and preventing the use of drugs and teaching negative consequences of such use; supporting youth by teaching and affirming the positive values of self esteem and responsibility to the community.
  
  
• Community Health Access Project (CHAP)
  for providing health and social prosperity in economically disadvantaged communities; provides prenatal care for young women in the inner city.
  
  
• Culliver Reading Center
  for providing services to the children of Mansfield that will promote the healthy development of their spirits, talents, and intellects; assisting schools and parents by advocating, teaching and fostering the love of reading.
  
  
• Dental Clinic for Children
  for promoting better dental care for indigent children attending Richland County schools. (K-12)
  
  
• Domestic Violence Shelter
  for providing each family and/or individual with an alternative to domestic abuse or violence by having access to the Shelter and its resources.
  
  
• Friendly House
  for meeting some of the recreational, informal educational and childcare needs of our immediate neighborhood and the community as a whole at a cost all can afford.
  
  
• Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland Council
  for inspiring girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism, and service that they may become happy and resourceful citizens.
  
  
• Harmony House
  for planning, formulating, operating and administering programs designed to bring about the permanent economic upgrading and self-sufficiency of the poor; operate a 60-day housing facility for men, women and children.
  
  
• Independent Living Center of North Central Ohio
  for ensuring that individuals with disabilities are able to access all of the opportunities available in this area.
  
  
• Mansfield Area Y
  for promoting the physical, mental, and spiritual welfare of persons in a Christian atmosphere.
  
  
• MedCentral Hospice
  for providing care to patients and their families facing end of life situations; respite for caregivers; counseling and support services for patient and family.
  
  
• Parent Aide Program
  for preventing the occurrence of child abuse/neglect by providing trained volunteers who educate in the parent's home.
  
  
• Raemelton Therapeutic Equestrian Center
  for providing a complete program through therapeutic horseback riding that touches the lives pf physically and mentally disabled individuals.
  
  
•  Rotary Adult Daycare
  for providing daily supervised activities to the elderly citizens of Richland County.
  
  
• Salvation Army
  for preaching the Gospel, disseminating Christian truths, providing personal counseling, and undertaking the spiritual, moral and physical rehabilitation of all persons in need.
  
  
• Third Street Family Health Services
  for providing services to residents of Richland County that have been unable to obtain primary health care due to financial hardships.
  
  
• Visiting Nurse Association of Mid-Ohio
  for providing innovative, high quality and cost effective community health care to all people by delivering care that promotes health, independence, and dignity.

United Way has partnered with four agencies who receive designations only.

   Arthritis Foundation, Northeastern Ohio Chapter
     for improving lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases.

• Butler Clearfork Nutrition Center
  for providing hot meals to the elderly and shut-ins.
• Mansfield U.M.A.D.A.O.P.
  for providing outreach, education, prevention and consultation services to the various cultural backgrounds.
• Richland Cancer Foundation
  for detecting cancer in early stages and to give assistance to people in need.
