On Thursday, February 25th, United Way of Richland County held their Annual Dinner to celebrate the successes from the 2009 Campaign.  Certificates of appreciaiton were presented to the top 25 Companies, 2009 Pilot Companies, Corporate Cornerstones, Campaign Sponsors and In Kind Sponsors.  Also recognized companies and organizations who had 100% participation from their employees and 30 companies and organizations who had Outstanding Campaigns with increases over last year of at least $1,000.00. Local Unions who run a campaign were recognized as was the Federal agencies who participate in the Combined Federal Campaign.  Special recognition was given to General Motors / UAW Local 549 for their contributions to this community since 1956.  Our theme for the 2009 Campaign was "Everyday Hero" and the Everyday Hero Award was presented to Pam Siegenthaler from the Richland County Foundation. Pam was recognized for her efforts to make Richland County a great place to live...!  We would like to thank everyone who attended our Annual Dinner and also send out a big THANK YOU to the people of Richland County who helped us raise $1,507,659.24 in a very difficult year.....!!  Please click here to check out the pictures of this year's dinner
