Richlandopoly

What is it?

Richlandopoly is intended to help celebrate our area, reconnect with a beloved board game and raise funds to benefit the United Way of Richland County.

This year’s event will take place in the King Ballroom at the Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfeld on March 7th, 2025 (Friday). During this event, a large 20’ x 20’ board will fill the room and up to 8 teams will battle for the title of Richlandopoly Champion.

Funds for the United Way are raised by sponsorships of properties around the board and through teams donating their team fee to the United Way of Richland County.

How Do I Play?

Teams of 2-4 players will battle it out on the life-sized Richlandopoly board to see who’s savvy will earn them the title Richlandopoly Champion!

The game will feature standard Monopoly rules. The players will each roll oversized dice and move an oversized token on the board and see if fortune or misfortune lies ahead. Chance cards, money, and property cards will all be oversized and will contain Richland County related surprises and humor throughout.

Team Participation

Team Fee: $500
Tokens: You can create or purchase a custom token to represent your business (feel free to ask for ideas!)
Colors: Teams can wear their own branded material of custom t-shirts

Property Sponsorship

Your company can be a part of the celebration by sponsoring a property in support of the United Way. With affordable options across four sponsorship levels—Bronze ($250), Silver ($500), Gold ($750), and Platinum ($1,000)—businesses are encouraged to participate and make a difference.

Every organization who sponsors a property will receive the following:

Donors can also have the option to sponsor a property on behalf of a key partner organization or favorite local non-profit.

This is a great option for individuals and organizations to help raise awareness and or create a fun gift for those organizations.
