UNITED WAY OF RICHLAND COUNTY TO HOST ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER

Mansfield, OH: The United Way of Richland County is hosting their Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Mid-Ohio Conference Center. The event will kick-off at 5 p.m. for a social hour with the dinner and awards starting at 6 p.m.

 

The Annual Dinner is held each year to recognize campaign achievements and honor volunteer leadership. The event will recognize United Way volunteers, contributors, workplace partners and partner agency programs dedicated to addressing the needs of those in Richland County. “We are excited to recognize so many great companies and individuals for all they did in support of the community,” stated Dan Varn, United Way’s Executive Director.

UNITED WAY OF RICHLAND COUNTY TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE REGARDING THE SNAP FOOD PANTRY ASSISTANCE GRANTS

Mansfield, OH: On Friday, February 15 at 1:00PM the United Way of Richland County will meet at their office located at 35 North Park Street in Mansfield to disperse the checks and recognize the success of the local food pantry assistance program. The organization will acknowledge the recipients who applied and were granted the funds to allow their food pantries to have food readily available for those in need.

UNITED WAY OF RICHLAND COUNTY’S BIG RED BOOKSHELF TO HOLD EVENT

Mansfield, OH: The United Way of Richland County’s Big Red Bookshelf will hold an event on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Richland Carrousel Park located at 75 N Main Street in Mansfield. A book reading of “Groovy Joe” along with a free copy of the book will be given to each child. Free lunch and carrousel rides will also be provided. This event is sponsored by Richland Bank.

UNITED WAY OF RICHLAND COUNTY TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE REGARDING THE POTIENTIAL IMPACT ON LOCAL SNAP BENEFITS

Mansfield, OH: The United Way of Richland County will hold a press conference on Tuesday, January 22 at 11:00AM at their office located at 35 North Park Street in Mansfield. This meeting is being held to announce how the potential disruption of SNAP benefits will affect local food pantries in Richland County. The United Way of Richland County will announce their plan for the community and their proposal towards being proactive during this impactful event. More details to follow.

United Way of Richland County to hold Mid-Campaign Luncheon

MANSFIELD, Ohio- The United Way of Richland County will be holding its Mid-Campaign luncheon on Friday January 18 beginning at noon. The event will take place at the Eisenhower Hall on the Campus of The Ohio State University at Mansfield.
The purpose of this event is to update the community on campaign progress to date, telling several positive stories from the campaign trail, honoring several local campaign coordinators for their hard work, and highlighting the end of campaign events.. The Mid-Campaign luncheon is jointly sponsored by The Ohio State University Mansfield and North Central State College.
The United Way of Richland County funds over 50 programs within 24 local, non-profit agencies. These programs focus on four community impact areas: Health Services, Family Services, Emergency Services and Youth Development.
